sdandrea1 They aren't distance monsters, but they do get the ball HIGH

Probably better for you because it’d be easier to hold the green, right? That’s all I think of when I fit older golfers for fairway woods… they all want 3 woods and there is no way any of them hold a green with one.

Higher is better for me, yes. If I got a 3w, it would be one of these. 16 degree loft and a VERY LOW COG.

Yes, of course. At any rate, it functions well with a bullet hole in it. One of the guys on our Myrtle Beach Trip didn't realize it was a sticker.....thought it was really a bullet wound. Here's your sign.......

Must have been one of our shooters on vacation.

PXG 0211 5w got a road test today. Hit one bad shot with it and 4 pretty good ones. I set the loft to 19.5 degrees. Evenflow 40g L flex shaft. Flight was high enough, easy to hit straight. Sound is ok, muted. Distance is ......well I hit it as far as I could. Not the best 5w ever, bit it's the best $89 5 wood ever (free shipping). 😉

        colej

Not sure I'd even know if it happened. How do I tell if the back of the sole is snagging?

You’d feel it and know it… like you were flipping it, you’d be hitting some shitty shots , which you weren’t .

colej I was thinking maybe a heavier than normal contact with the ground?

          Nope. Pretty smooth.

Seriously, why in the hell would it "snag" any more than any other sole of any other club head?
