sdandrea1 These are easily Golfworks' best KE component head

I've GOT to get down there and try them out.....next time I go to C'bus to visit our daughter and grand-daughters.
I could use a #6 iron to go with the Pings....!!!

Subsonic So how was the Zebra putter?

I used it yesterday and forgot to review! Loved the feel. Easy to roll the ball right on the intended line. It's smaller than my CrazE, so that took a little getting used to. The stripes make alignment easy. I made some nice putts and had some really good misses/lags. It's approved!!!

I used a knockoff of that putter for a couple seasons back when I was just starting to build clubs. I liked it
but then it was onto the next big thing I guess.

Final review of the Maltby KE4 Max irons.
I had them bent to 2 degrees upright from factory specs (not from factory "actual"). Lofts we're also bent to factory specs. Guy that bent them said the lofts were almost all withing 1/2 degree of spec.

Played 18 with them today and was hitting it pretty well. I had better contact and on-center strikes with the heads dialed in so it was awakening how LONG these are. These are DISTANCE irons! The downside of that for my game is they're effective for 4, 5, 6, even 7 iron shots......long and high. For scoring shots, 8 iron to GW, they're not so great. Distance control and green holding became an issue for me today. I airmailed a few greens with the 8 and 9 iron and had a few wedge shots that landed nicely and kept going. Could be the shaft and/or my swing, but for playing my best, the TE Forged or GigaGolf CB Forged will go back in the bag. If there's interest in buying these heads, let me know.

Integra Soooo Long Offset Panini. Get one!

Hint.....put a decent shaft in it. Sounds/feels good. Long as anything else in my hands.

sdandrea1 The early Nike Sumo square drivers were the worst sounding tin cans of all drivers. Many of the later squares sounded OK. They do have more miss room off the toe/heel with the square design but it does scrub off distance.

scotts33 I thought the Wishon 739 was pretty equal to the Nike. First time trying it was at a 2-level covered range and boy did it echo in there!

KCee Wishon 739CCG was designed by Tom for anywhere from short playing lengths to long playing lengths and was SP700. SP700 is much better sound off the face. The issues with loud tin cans is their inner design. I had to yarn many over the years. Hot melt is a possibility also.

          KCee

One of the best driver heads out there, at the time. Played it until the face cracked.

colej It is a great head, just insanely loud IMO. I still have mine in near mint condition with extra weights if you want a blast from the past!

            scotts33

These aren't loud and tinny like those old Nikes. Good scoring club/fairway finder.

I've built the non-offset Quadratic for a client it was good but like any driver it's eye of the beholder and user. You also used a square design a few years back same result.

Not exactly sure what your point is here. I'm just sharing my impression of this head.

What square design did you use a few years back? Can't remember the name it was basically the same experience, yes? That was my point. All good!

Might have been this one under a different name. I've built quite a few of these for buddies and probably commented on it. They were probably all Integra heads. This one is by far the most quiet. This is probably the best shaft I've put in a cheap head. That must mean something. It's a sale item at Monarch Golf ($29.90).

scotts33 The Sumo arrived with so much hype. I remember people lined up to hit the thing at the golf store. I had one and it was a decent driver. Sounded like crap, but it was straight.

Agreed square designs seem straighter on toe/heel impacts. I'm a sound/feel guy hence they were junk. 😁
