sdandrea1 The JDM stuff seems to be more senior oriented.
John Muir deals with JDM stuff quite a bit.

sdandrea1 Apparently, RBG buyers read PapaDee's scouting reports, showing Hot Seller--32 sold recently. Only Stiff remaining
sdandrea1 It was the Vizard 43 "HonmaRegular" flex which I think plays softer than other R flex shafts. The JDM stuff seems to be more senior oriented. Interested in @scotts33 thoughts there.
Same specs. and play ability as a Swing Science FC-One Ion "A" wood 46g .335 shaft. Vizard 43 wood might be a lil stiffer in the tip as I pulled it out of head and checked profile in my NF9. Hard to tell with adapter on shaft but close.
The big factor is the head a lot of miss room and play ability.
I am 73, 86 mph, 1.4 sec. transition time with driver and early-medium release. I can "wait for it" and not rush from the top kind of senior player so light graphite will work for me. My general ball flight is draw. I expect once the ground drys out to get extra roll as you can tee this one medium or high. The head like I said has miss room all over it. Most impressive modern high tech head that I have hit including some of the big major brands. The head was designed for the senior and ladies market it seems to me.
Hailey Ostrom reviewed it in 2019 when she was with Honma.
Bravopilot papad is moving the bubble and having an effect on the market. Is he the new geezer Tiger?
Rock Bottom has XP-1 fairway woods (3 & 5) on sale for $99.
They are listed as new clubs.
Got to hit the Honma XP1 3w for the first time today. It's probably the only 3w in existence that I can launch off the turf into a reasonably high trajectory. This JDM stuff is geezer-friendly. My 5w arrives tomorrow.
I hit the XP1 5h today for the first time. It's stupid long and easy to hit straight. Get one.
I hit the XP1 3 wood twice today and shocked myself both times. I had trouble finding the first one because I thought I didn't carry a marsh. We found it 25 yards past the marsh. These things are hot. The 5h is almost too long. I'd prefer a higher lofted hybrid. My 5w is in a box on the front porch. Headed there now.
