Going back to wood woods, I had a Power Bilt Citation driver that I never got comfortable with (loved the FW's, refused to replace them in the bag until 2000), and an Arnold Palmer graphite shafted persimmon driver I could knock the shit out of, but if m timing was even a bit off (early graphite shaft days, loose as a goose), it would still go far...just in a random direction nowhere near the fairway
