Arnold Palmer Bay Hill event
Hoss7504 Douche-ambeau is such a turd. Celebrating like that for hitting your driver
... Act like you've been there before.
Btw, Rory hit it farther and on a more aggressive line, and you didn't see him acting like a dipshit after. Just picked up his tee and went.
Well, actually, no one has been where BD hit it (371 yds), so he hasn't been there before.
At least you got the part about Rory (361 yds) picking his tee up right, and not acting like a dipshit. So 2 for 4!
The game would be so much more exciting to watch if only everyone had Jason Dufner's personality ...
For those that haven't seen his drive over the water yet:

I guess I don't see where he's out of line or there's any excess celebrating. I've thought Bryson has acted like a dork in the past but not in this clip.
Westwood misses 2 makeable birdies, as usual.
DaChumpo is all over the map so far and Bradley struggling along with Connors.
Maybe a surprise winner today? Fleetwood?
Wind is up , favours the good ball strikers. Bryson would be my pick otherwise but is too all over.
I think this could favour a player Fleetwood or Spieth , Connors is no slouch either.
So BDC takes the tough line on #6 again ... but what was his caddy looking at back on the tee when thy were prepping the shot? On a lanyard round his neck? Wind speed or direction indicator ... definitely more than an ID card.
golf_bhoy Was thinking the same thing, most likely a compass--he tried using a compass before to help with flags. Believe he was told to stop. Need more equipment for wind speed. Surprised not one comment by the TV folks.
You're probably right, it's not the first time either (but is the first I've seen it). Quick google search and there's any number of articles on it ... should have done some research before I posted. An entertaining last round in progress ... BDC playing it his way, Spieth back on form, Connors very steady, Westwood hanging on even with his Sunday putter in the bag.
Westwood is surprisingly steady today.
I'm not disagreeing - he's pulled 3 makeable putts left that would have had him well ahead. And another short one on #16 for joint lead ... did I say I wasn't disagreeing?
You just reminded me of the time one of our national newspapers described Greg Norman as "a man who's made a career of finishing second" years after his Saturday Slam. He had 71 wins on his CV at the time ...
golf_bhoy did I say I wasn't disagreeing
nah, but you listed his wins etc
I watch Euro golf a lot. He's not the same putter over here for some reason.
On a side note, our guy Connors is a bit of Sunday flake, like most of the Canadians on tour these days.
I root for them, like Westwood, and then turn the channel at some point, before the end.
Spuzz our guy Connors
Hated to see him miss the putt on 17. What a beautifully smooth swing he has though.

Spuzz Westwood, like Darren Clarke, is hard to go against in Ryder Cup. Appear to be stand up people. Don't remember him ever complain, bitch or moan when things went bad. Order of Merit last year, no slouch. Sorry, Race to Dubai.
