          All studies show that grooves on a driver have very, very little effect on .... well, anything to do with ball flight.
          Remember the SMT 455db and all the discussion that ensured. Most grooves on a driver are superficial, cosmetic.

                Just sold my 455. One of the best heads ever and after years of use it always looked like new. The paint finish was second to none. Absolutely the most beautiful head I’ve ever owned. I still have a 12 degree one in the rockstars bag. One day I’ll sell it and the eye 2’s to update his bag.

                  shokosugi impressive stats with it. I doubt it's bad, but I also doubt the veritcal grooves do a damn thing other than interest people who like something different.
