The Coke Zero sugar tastes like the original Coke. Pepsi in any variety tastes like cat whiz I am told.

Warm Coke is a great rust dissolver.

I can understand them, I am one of them. I've always been a Coke fan and didn't really care for Pepsi. There is a definite
taste difference. Their diet drinks, Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi are the same way. Diet Coke isn't bad but Diet Pepsi is putrid.
I can't handle that one. My current favorite is Coke Zero. I haven't tried Pepsi's version of that yet.

azgreg I'll give a third option. There is a taste difference, but I have no preference for the difference. I don't drink any of them anymore as I have enough bad habits without drinking those too. But if cola is what someone has at their house it doesn't matter to me whether it be Pepsi, Coke, RC, Sam's Choice, etc. They all taste good to me even if different.

According to my wife they are all very different and Diet Coke from McDonalds is the best by far. I pretty much gave up soda 25+ years ago so they all taste about the same to me.
