I hadn't seen a doctor, for personal care, forever, basically since my teens. Last Sept. my D-I-L called one and I was in the next week. And that place is even now advertising for patients. Lot of doctors here; maybe I should say NPs. Health care is huge in this area.

azgreg and that doctor you end up with will make you wonder why you wasted your time going. GP’s are awful, we’ll at least mine is but what choice do any of us have.
Mine knows nothing, does nothing, always has an excuse to not do things I ask about or that my old GP did for good reason ( family history).
When I made my urologist appt earlier this year the doctor asked if my GP sent me. I told her “no, she’s useless.” I’ll end up blacklisted like Elaine on Seinfeld.
