johnnydoom I take it as a sign that the doctor has other patients they are more concerned about at the time and that the patient I'm worried about is probably responding to treatment in the way the doctor wants.
I would agree except in the case of my youngest they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her so now they have done a spinal tap and have the results, but only a dr can discuss them, but no dr has time. So finally after being there 14 hours I leave and an hour later get a call on my cell from the dr. Kudos to a doc is making calls at 1 am, but I was there 14 hours trying to speak to one. Similar with my dad, but at least they only made me wait 4-5 hours before letting me know the doc had already left and can't see me. I tip my hat to the staff at Middlesex hospital at CT. The only hospital I've been to recently where the doc actually came to talk to me.....more than once!
