azgreg Arrived in Spokane at Fairchild AFB soon following Mount St Helens, lots of ash everything and still on the base after long time clean up. Big mistake they did not evac the planes at Fairchild. Impacted flight training while at Pilot Training in Columbus AFB, MS. Ash remained high in the jet stream.
