This former motorcycle gang member spent time in prison. He just won the New Zealand Open to qualify for the Open Championship.

“Ryan Peake woke up Sunday hoping to play the round of a lifetime at the New Zealand Open. The 31-year-old Australian badly wanted to win the 104th edition of the event, which would also secure him a spot in the 153rd Open Championship this summer at Royal Portrush and move him within striking distance of a DP World Tour card.

Facing a four-shot deficit, Peake took a call from his friend, PGA Tour star Min Woo Lee, and their mutual swing coach, Ritchie Smith, before the round at the Millbrook Resort in Queenstown.”

Spuzz Hahahaha!!! When I saw him playing I was thinking of “Spaceballs” myself

Cabrera was convicted of assault for a second time on Monday, according to Agence France Presse. The 53-year-old, who is serving time in a prison in his native Argentina, was sentenced to an additional two years and four months of prison time for assaulting Micaela Escudero, a former girlfriend.

Rickie and Jordan being pissed because they can't play in Arnie's tourney. F'N cry babies. Like they need the money. Let it get spread around.
I want to see more of this happening in those 'elite' events. Hope Jack takes note of this also, along with the rest.

Par4QC It seemed like Jordan was whining, but not so much Rickie. Not a big deal, but I probably would have given one them an invite over Mackenzie Hughes as I'm not sure he brings in too many fans. Plus I think Fowler supported the tournament when he was playing well and guys like McIlroy were blowing it off. Just my $.02 but of course winning takes care of everything.

      Par4QC Rickie

I heard him being interviewed before the final round last week, he didn't seemed pissed, essentially stating play better and it will take care of itself. Maybe he had more to say since then?

ode essentially stating play better and it will take care of itself.

Yeah, a bit tongue-in-cheek. He knows he's been playing well, at least much better.
Can't wait to see if Webb Simpson got in. Or Adam Scott. Gary Woodland was told NO also, and he's now on the board.

KCee but I probably would have given one them an invite over Mackenzie Hughes as I'm not sure he brings in too many fans.

I would have given them to the bottom 2 players on the money list. Make them step up their games, perhaps. Show people why they always choose the big names, if these 2 would shit themselves on TV. Points can be made, in different ways.....I complain that I don't want the top/rich to get all the exemptions.....others want to always see them. Prove something to both of us.

Look at last week......fella makes the cut on last hole........wins tourney on Sunday.

I think a shock collar would be good. Small zap after 30 seconds, bigger zap after 45, and 12k volts after a minute

The feat has happened twice in PGA TOUR history since 1983. Yusaku Miyazato aced Nos. 7 and 12 in the second round of the 2006 Barracuda Championship. Brian Harman made a pair of aces at the 2015 FedEx St. Jude Championship at the third and 14th holes of his final round.

PA-PLAYA the 12k might just knock the person out... then they'll need medical care. That would cause bigger back ups.
