The "break the rules" mantra is lame and getting old.
Not surprised it's mostly Last Tee members spouting it.

Pretty sure a 100 million dollar guy who just won a real major doesn't give two shits about a parking spot at a fake wannabe major. Only the pompous asses care about stuff like that, which is part of the problem, and most of that comes from the American media who can't seem to stfu about petty nonsense.

Starting to hate the PGA Tour. I used to watch with the sound off a lot any way, but even on mute "Saudi backed LIV" is stuck in my head and I can read their lips as that's every other sentence. I have been watching the ladies lately. No mention of LIV there and many of them hit similar club distances to me. I think they deserve more fans any way.

That's the kind of stuff that makes me root for the LIV players this week. What if Jack Nicklaus had actually taken the job that Norman has? Would they erase his entire PGA career? Would Tiger now be the all time majors leader?

Nobody "broke the rules". He won that tournament well before he left the PGA. You can't erase history. I don't really have a problem with them banning LIV guys going forward but you can't rewrite history.

Opening line in the article. “Not only is Cam Smith suspended from the PGA Tour” blah, blah, blah.

He broke the rules. Anyone teeing it up in an LIV event gets suspended. He tee’d it up in Boston. Get suspended and you lose your PGA Tour privileges. The PGA Tour owns the TPC Sawgrass.

Kinda like the soup nazi in Seinfeld. You break the rules in his restaurant, no soup for you!!! Lol. Smith lives in the TPC Sawgrass area. And he often used the facilities at Sawgrass. No more though. Lol

Sneakylong I thought you were one for 'history' & 'legacy'? By the removal of a winner's existence from their clubhouse, they are doing golf a huge disservice. They are actually removing those things from their history/legacy, not his.

They can put a plaque up with an asterisk next to the LIV players who won. Lol The LIV players legacy is they knew the rules and chose to break the rules. That’s their legacy.

He hadn't broke any rules when he won the tournament. He was a PGA member in good standing.

Jack dodged a bullet there for sure. Luckily his people talked him out of it. Him and Arnold Palmer were the ones who led the PGA Tour’s players to not join Norman’s Stars Tour back in the early 90’s.

He’d have looked foolish heading it now. Yes his legacy would’ve been tarnished big time.

I ask....why did they not lead a boycott of this tournament? No one show up except the LIV members that entered? They would have to wait of course, until tomorrow morning, in order to stop replacements.
