It's currently 29° here where I am. I've been seeing snow on the mountains most of the day, lowest temperature I saw the truck show was about 14°.
And there is this cold white shit all over the place here in Carson City...
Been up since about 3:30, on the road from Palm Springs area since 5:30.
Got to the barn to drop off horses about 3:40, then I got to blanket them and finally unload heavy trunks.
I just got done in Arby's drive thru.
Beef and Cheddar, curly fries, mozzarella sticks, and a strawberry lemonade to wash it down. Next stop is a hotel for the night.

No snow here, just a light dusting so far this year. Put my plow on just in case. Ready to go. Corn was picked today on my property on 3 sides. Sure looks different now. Will see deer running around all the time.

Wind chills below zero Friday, through the weekend. I'm staying my ass at home until Tuesday, unless there's significant accumulation. I'll go in Friday, if they need help with snow/ice removal from the clubhouse, that's it.

We're supposed to get below zero on Thursday and Friday. It's the first time in more than 30 years that St. Louis has been below zero in December.

Rangerx and I were in one of those a few years ago while playing golf at Red Mountain Ranch. Sure gets dark and freaky, but nothing you can do but hunker down and wait for it to pass. Wouldn't want to be in a car on the highway though.

Just got the word from our guys here last night; they finally made up their minds/looked into the ball. Sounds bad, but I'm already staying in anyway.
Wind is supposed to get up to 50 mph, to add with those temps.
I'll be waiting to watch the news reports of all the strange (comically uttered) happenings that now become reality, when Hell freezes over. 😄

Here in NE IN, we are expecting 3-6" of snow with blizzard conditions Thursday night into Friday and winds 35-50 mph. Looks like we'll at least have a white x-mas.
