GREAT news on your apartment! What a relief. Now, we just have to get through that billing period which is a total wildcard right now.
Glad you made it safely to Florida. I love that drive to Pensacola. The one back should be much easier. Enjoy yourself!
I wish I could report better but I simply don't know.
My knowledge of it only goes back to a few days prior. I got myself stocked up best I could early Sat. morn. Had a very hard time finding gas in our town. Could find none during most of the week when power was out. Once power back on, one of the 7-11's had a few pumps that worked.
Grocery stores were decimated on Saturday morn. I was among the first to enter two of them (Kroger and Walmart)...neither was well stocked. Kroger had NO milk at all. That whole section was bare save for non dairy creamer. Little meat available. Walmart had about 25 gallons of milk. It was ugly in both stores and I was thrilled to be at both for store opening or it would've been much worse.
With the temp hitting 74 yesterday roads are all open. I would assume trucks are rolling into Texas without issue now. I'm guessing it will take a day or two for new supply to balance out old demand.
Probably won't check on gas for a long, long time as we have a full tank in a car that gets around 30 mpg city. Will be checking on food later this week and figure it'll be back.
