I went back to the simulator for another round, this time at Pebble Beach. Played it short, though, about 5200 yards.
Started off pretty strong and was one under through 7. Wheels came off on 8, where I missed a 7-foot putt for double, and I bogeyed 9, as well. Finished the front nine three over with two lipped out putts and several crappy shots.
Got on the par train from 10-13, and was hitting better drives. Birdied 14, parred 15, birdied 16, bogied 17 (my only bogey on the back nine) and finished with a sandy birdie on 18, for two under on the back and a total of 73.
14,15,16, and 18 I hit really good drives, although my longest today was 248. Following advice from Typhoon, I was much better on 30-70 yards wedge shots.
All in all, I was happy with my ball striking and I really had fun.
