Mattyv I think I had my best driving day ever today. I hit 10/13 fairways and the 3 I missed weren't off by much. I was also not hitting fairway finders. I was dropping bombs on the course! It was about 70° out today, a little chilly and the ball was flying off my driver like it was 100° out. I would say my average was in the 275 range and there were a few pushing 300. I drove over the green on 10 and had a PW in after my drive on the par 5 18th. This made for a bad combo with my piss poor short game. I wasted all of those drives by not making a single birdie or better. My chipping was terrible and I couldn't make a putt over 5 feet. 41-42 for an 83.

Sparky Last round out - 25 putts. So I should have expected today. 16 birdie putts, 1 birdie. Frustrating.
Sneakylong 86 at Timber Greens. Had one birdie. Windy and cold this morning. Had a long sleeve shirt, quarter zip sweat shirt, and a wind shirt on and was still cold. Mostly just a colder than a bastid miserable day.
sdandrea1 82 at my old Florida home course with the old gang. Been 21 months since we left. We each played our own ball in a quota/stabelford, followed by a blind draw to form 2--man teams. I went 2 over my quota (28 to 26) and my blind draw partner was 4 short of his (22 to 26), for a team total of 2 strokes short of quota........good enough for 1st! $7 each. I'm banned until next winter.😂
Walterjn I had the chance to play today. I got to go around with 3 of the regulars who were playing their second 9. I ended up +4 over those 9, so 33. I went around again with a buddy and quickly exceeded that +4 in only a few holes.

Typhoon Took a half hour just to hit driver indoors. Realized I need to get back on Advil. I’ve been trying to figure out my heartburn issues so I stopped taking it but man I feel like I’m 100 years old without it

Mattyv 40-44 today. Driver was eratic but the short game was on point. Played with my longtime foursome for possibly the last time. One of the gang is moving back to Portland after 20 years in the desert. We had a beautiful day with temps in the mid 70's and a great pace on the course. We played like it was any other round and had a great time. Hopefully it's not the last time we play, but if it was, it was a good one.
