From an old high school golf coach, you SHOULD be proud...!!! Most of the kids in the school have no idea how big a deal that is to a young golfer!! Congrats to Jesse......AND his clubmaker!!!

Typhoon I know some at my club that still use the Sim2 Max. They are TM devotees but hate the carbon face. They go to the fittings at our club each year, but they say the new TM drivers don't beat the old one. Of course their drives are probably a good 50 yards behind yours.

KCee Have they put the shaft from the sim and put it in the carbon faced heads?…. Or do they at least bring the sim with them and hit it as well? It is a great driver…. I just don’t know why I can’t dial it in. There is nothing I dislike about it. I stuck a couple shafts in the bag to try but the Paderson works fine in the Ping….

Typhoon I know at least one of them tried with the old shaft. The others probably didn't. The one who tried is a lady single digit and she hits it 250. She's a stick.

Played 9 yesterday evening. Ended up +4, started off bogey, par, par, par, bogey. The next hole i hit a beautiful 5 wood into the wind that ended up 10 feet off the green, chipped on and made the birdie putt. Granted, the tee box was about 215 yards away, still, I hit a beautiful tee shot. Then I went par, bogey, and finished 9 with a double bogey. The tee shot on 6 was the definite highlight of my round. One of the guys I joined up with told me that I'd be good at speed golf, I disagreed as I don't like to run. I do just walk up and hit the ball with little to no practice swings.

Shot another 78 today. 3 more birdies but still no skins. Maybe finished 2nd for low net

Went around 2x yesterday. The 1st round was the best one in a long time. I walked off 9 with a bogey to end up +1. That was after the double bogey on 3, the birdie on holes 5 & 6.
The 2nd 9 was absolute crap, I quit counting after #4, too many double bogeys.

40/40, but Jake got me again with a -1, 71. Perfect golf weather, played with 2 of his buddies that were not at all bad. Long round though, full course.

The heavier shafts are a better fit. Now need to get lofts/lies adjusted. Should be gold then!!😆

Did get to see a fella hit a 5i at 243....on the green(eagle missed), and at 240 from the rough/under a tree, just missing the green. jeezus

I did play another TF XL Control ball for a couple holes. Can still find nothing wrong with those things. Not hard feeling, no scuffs, no excess runout on greens, putt nicely. They are long off every club.

I shot 39-40-79 this morning at Giant Oak Golf Club in Temperance, Mich. Course was in beautiful shape, and
weather ideal. I hit the ball well, but couldn't putt worth a damn. On a hunch, I got out my old original Ram Zebra mallet, but had absolutely NO touch with it, leading to several 3-putts. It's going back in the basement!!
12 GIR / 0 birdies / 36 putts.

80 at Plantation Palms (42 - 38). Had 1 birdie. We got paired with a single this morning. Turns out he’s originally from Boston (Hyde Park). Taught in South Boston for years, now retired down here.

He’s the same age as me (70). He shot a 1 under 71 with 6 birdies. Tied his best round and beat his birdie best by 1. Says he’s an 8 capper. Played very well.

Didn’t play too shabby myself. Nice to hear someone else call a ‘par’ a ‘pah’. lol

Shot a 41 yesterday in a league match. My opponent was getting 3 strokes from me and he beat me with a 41. I had my best driving day with a SIM 2 Max.
