sdandrea1 [unknown] Yes, the Igloo had TWO FrogTog chamois and Gatorade on ice. I rotated the chamois around my neck and on the back of the cart seat.π
Typhoon sdandrea1 looks like you are getting the double post thing like I am. When you post and then get the red band at the bottom that says βoops something went wrong ββ¦. If you hit the post button, itβll post it again. The red band is bullshit, your first post went through. Just refresh it after
garyt1957 40-38-78 on a par 71. Continuing with my "back saver" swing I was pull drawing my drives a lot. I was hitting some absolute bombs for me that would catch the left trees and get knocked down. One went 236 that would have crossed the unheard of for me 250 yard mark. Realized on hole 12 that I had switched to a weaker grip last time and bam, lots of fw's with a little fade. I have to start writing all this crap down. The idea of me remembering stuff from the last round is laughable. 110 yards and in is still my weakness. If I get that solved I'll be playing some good golf.
Par4QC garyt1957 If I get that solved I'll be playing some good golf. 40-38-78 I'll take that and tell you I was playing good golf. ππ
Typhoon Front 9 30 today. Wicked hot, feels like temps over 100 and humid. It was great. Got around in a little over an hour once I got through 2 groups.
sdandrea1 86 today with the hickories. Still gotta get smarter on how far each club goes. I had some really good opportunities today and added a stroke by being short.
fatshot I shot 41-41-82 this morning at Bedford Hills Golf Club in Toledo, OH this morning. I was NOT sharp, and poor chipping repeatedly left me too far from the hole to save pars. 7 GIR / 1 birdie / l double bogey / 33 putts.
Weirfan 40/33 yesterday for a +1 , 73 to tie my PB for 18 at my course but bested my previous back nine score of -1 . 35 by 2 shots As always, could have been better. Made a double on 5 and Missed a 4 foot birdie on 14 and same length par putt on 16
KCee Shot 43 in league and lost. Birdied 190 yard 8th hole from 3 ft thinking that would tie match but my opponent made another long putt like he did all night.
sdandrea1 Walterjn it's ok. Not your fault for being vertically challenged. ππ I'm gravity challenged too........
MidwayJ Typhoon We look up the scores in some of the leagues and see guys with 9 hole handicaps approaching 25-30. Holy chit! Our senior league has a 25 handicap maximum. For 18. They tolerate a couple guys who are about 26.
Typhoon MidwayJ one of the Thursday nite leagues has a lot of guys who shoot in the 70βs for 9 holes. Last night was brutal. Leagues start at 330 pm and we had 53 carts go out. They finish in the dark NOWβ¦. I canβt imagine what they do in September. Again, we should charge more for carts. BIG miss there.
MidwayJ 42/45 in the senior league. One birdie. Finally finished in the money in my flight with a net 70. I hacked up two early holes but 1-putted both from 10-12 feet for double bogeys. Those two strokes made a difference in the end.
MidwayJ Typhoon Wow. That must seem especially absurd to someone who plays golf as well as you do. I played for a couple years as an alternate in a 9-hole after work golf league associated with a large company where some friends worked. (They allowed each team to have one player who didn't work there.) We encountered a team with players like that. The worst part was having to police their scores. They wouldn't count their strokes and then just take a guess when they finished the hole. The format was handicapped so we didn't want to lose because of their cluelessness. I can see where a league full of teams like that would be a real cluster, lol.
