Still too hot, so I went back to XGolf to play a virtual round. Chose Oakmont, but played it at 5700 yards, and with the rough only costing about 20% versus a fairway shot.
I hit the ball mostly very well. I'm much better at these indoor bays than I am in real life; maybe it's the good lie every time? I hit a few thin and a couple fat. I hit maybe two irons that didn't have good direction...both of them missed left. But overall, I hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens.
My score doesn't count because I took some mulligans, mostly trying to figure out the long-distance putting. But I had three or four birdies and was happy with my ball striking.
