Played a scramble yesterday, which I normally don't care for, but I haven't played one in a while and it was fun. They had a pizza truck on a hole and bourbon tasting on another and so on. It was still 5.5 hours, but it didn't seem that bad as there were distractions on many holes.
I finally drove the ball a lot better and I was good from long range, but still struggling with 8-P in my hands. Surprisingly they had the white tees back and the course was playing long especially into the wind. I was the big hitter at a solid 240 all day and we had just over 200 yards in on 2 par 4's 😮 And I hit both with a 5 wood! But I couldn't hit a green with a 9i lol. Luckily my partners took care of the shorter shots, but it's sad when I am the big hitter in the group.
