How did you shoot today at Golf

Par4QC just sayin…. It’s happened here and the parents weren’t too thrilled when they saw they had to pay. Had a Dad tell his kid to bring the cart back… not smart to begin with, kids goes by the shop doing 90 right into the back of the ones in the cart return. Kid got hurt too unfortunately.
Typhoon kids goes by the shop doing 90
Piss poor parenting IMHO…neither of my kids would ever do that…they have been raised better and know the ramifications if they were to ever attempt a shit show move like that…
We don’t let them drive the cart solo without one of us with them…but my daughter will earn this solo privilege once she has her driver’s license in a couple weeks.
VigilanteTrail Thought courses required drivers to be 18? Or is that the age for DL's up there, instead of 16?
Par4QC Thought courses required drivers to be 18?
Not at our private club…or maybe it just isn’t enforced…I see teenagers driving carts every now & then…and they usually play later in the day when the “adults” are already done…probably because their parents said so…
One of those kids is my daughters age (15) and is a way better golfer (4.3 index) than 80-90% of the membership…including me…
@"Par4QC"#p374389 We have cameras out on the course too, a lot of places do now. Liability and stupidity force it nowadays..
Around here I think the rule is a kid has to be fifteen to drive the cart.

Shot 91 Saturday and 84 Sunday. Stupidly walked on Saturday; I thought the electric trolley would save me, but man was it hot & humid out. Even my belt was soaked lol. Took a cart Sunday even though it was a bit cooler. Went back out Sunday afternoon for 3 on 3 scramble.
If I could stop piping a drive OB a few times each round I'd be doing ok. I'm hitting it farther than I have been in a while, but we have OB and/or water on 11 holes and I am swinging a bit too freely. Short game sucks too, but some practice would probably fix that.
My handicap is still high so hopefully I can make use of it in some upcoming tournaments. Playing with my buddy's son in the next tournament which should be interesting. He has my game score-wise, but can hit it +300. It's modified alternate shot so I will either have a wedge to the green or ball in pocket lol.

9 hole Wash, rinse, repeat . -3, keep birding the same 3 holes. Hit all 9 greens, got nothing close. Driver came alive… I started crouching in my backswing and then pushing up from the ground on the downswing and hit it solid again. No more thin ones.
Irons…. It’s me…. Don’t know what… best iron of the day was on the first hole par 5 nice drawing 4 iron on in 2. Everything else is a pull compared to where I want to start the ball and then draws or I flip. Tomorrow might be the range.
84 (45-39) at Timber Greens. No birdies. Front 9 wasn't very good. Back 9 was better.
Buddy's course in prep for Mem Guest next month
Blue tees @ 6632, went 41/39.
Struggled with the greens on front, 3 three putts, 21 total, better on the back with only 15 putts
Sneakylong That's a bad day for you!

Yeah, I’ve been in a groove. But as we know it can come and go at anytime. I’ve had a feel for quite awhile that is easy to repeat with good results.
47/47 this morning. Similar pattern as the last time out. Golf swing felt good for about 4 holes and then struggled after that. I lost quite a few golf balls, including one on each of the last three holes, lol. As the summer gets hotter I'm going to be playing less.
Third round of the year.
49+41 = 90
Holes #7, 8, 9 = Double, Triple, Triple followed by 4 consecutive pars.
My driver is killing me.
Gotta cut the driver down to my standard 44.5" and regain some confidence.
