Getting hard to find a real Italian sub. My area( Philly, Wilmington, South Jersey) was the sub capitol. Shops closing down or changing hands and new owners screwing it up. An Italian sub is- ham, Genoa salami, capicola ,provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, hot or sweet peppers optional, oil, oregano and prosciutto or pepper ham on top. Anything else is a good sandwich but not a true Italian sub
