Went around 3 times today, after the carne asada taco. First time around I shot a 43. Nothing special, had a few nice drives off short tees. Still a little bit damp. Chunked a few drives as well. The second time around everything kinda went to hell on me and I shot a 50.
My last time around, everything clicked for me. I went back to hitting everything off the ground except the one tee box I hit my driver from. Hit a couple of shots fat, otherwise everything was almost pure. I shot a 36. Teed off on the 4th hole, hit one with my 5 wood that looked like it might be OB, hit a provisional and immediately lost it. Found my original just inside and played that one. That drive was beautiful, it was high and a hard draw that landed a foot inbounds and stopped at the fence. Had it been straight, it probably would have been on the green. If only, biggest word in the English language, IF.... Had a great time, played for the last time this year 😁. Looking forward to playing more next year.
