Usual Sunday game for me today - ideal conditions for playing again, and I was able to take advantage. I was able to scramble pars on the first three holes (after driving into a fairway bunker on 1, missing the green left on 2 and finding a greenside bunker on 3), then played solid regulation golf through the 13th, holing birdie putts on 5, 7 and 12. A nice sand save on 14 kept things going, and dropped shots on 15 and 17 were partly offset by a birdie on 16. A solid par on the last (with a nice 2-putt from 10 yards or so short of the green) gave me a 66 on the day (which I think is the best round that I've had from the yellow tees at Longniddry).
I went into the weekend thinking that my handicap was going to go up from 1.7, as the oldest 4 of my 20 rounds were in my best 8 scores - looks like it'll be going the other way (at least temporarily), as I think I'll be at 0.5 after today's round...
