How did you shoot today at Golf
Typhoon I used to get them from Rob, wayyy back when he started HOF. Him and Carter were(are??) good buddies.
Penley Tour Light & Harrison Striper were my 2 'go to' shafts. I have some new Stripers also; a couple are already in 455DB heads. Had 1 out a couple weeks ago and they are still an awesome combo!
Also have a couple Stealths, but are painted the colors for the old Ruger heads, gold/dark blue. At 72g they get a bit heavy now.
I’ve wasted the whole month of October, with excellent weather, on the injured list.
First I had a 3 inch incision on my arm to remove a skin cancer. Golfing was not allowed while it healed. Then on the day I got the sutures removed, I managed to split open a part of the incision while working on my golf cart. So more delays for further healing.
Now that I’m okay to play, I’ve had bronchitis for several days, following a cold. Going to get into the doc or urgent care tomorrow.
I had been hoping to play 100 rounds this year, but that’s not going to happen.
81 today in my quota game. Won the middle 6 and the total. New quota is 26.
Played yesterday, shot 83. Lost several shots to shanked chips again. Drove it great. Last round with the high lofted hybrids I think. May restart them and revisit.
What's happened to all of our golfers here? Where is everybody?
DonM Can you read/understand this, knowing what mph means?? They are talking gusts of over 40-50.
I may still go out. I'll just tuck my shirttail in to keep from ballooning.
We did play Saturday. Only 52* at start....coldest temp I've ever played in. Only 59* when done. Wind was up a bit also, so not many problems with leaves on greens. But, can't believe how nice it was out there.
Played a 2 man scramble yesterday. Was a bit too cold for me early on, but did warm up a bit. I used the last of my pro shop credit for new mittens and a toasty warm jacket.
I either hit a spectacular shot or an awful one. My partner was about the same, but luckily we only had 2 holes where we both stunk at the same time.
Didn't realize they were making it a greenskeepers revenge thing, but there were some unique pin positions. Don't recall ever 3 putting in a scramble, but we did so 5-6 times and we were not alone. Apparently there were 2 separate 8-putts....in a scramble. Was kind of funny, but it also slowed the round down a LOT

We played today in some of the highest winds I have played in for a LONG time! The local weather said 20-25 mph, with gusts up in the 30's. I managed for a while, but on the back nine, just ran of of gas (or luck, LOL!). My score of 39-42-81 was sort of irrelevant....it was hard as hell to stay still over the ball, esp. on / around the greens. Oh well, chalk one up for experience. The Legacy in Ottawa Lake, Michigan was in great shape......just a tough day to play!
5 GIR's, 1 birdie, 1 double bogey, 31 putts.
