No score to post, not played in a couple weeks. Got an email today from a local muni and thought I'd post the flyover they had attached. Very decent course, always in very nice conditions, but has some wicked greens/pin placements at times. Long for me, so hard to break 80 there, but I have (barely) done it a few times. I don't play some of the gold tees(use the whites) as a few are set up for disaster, aiming at trees and OB. Not sure what the thought was in planning.
Thinking we'll play here on Sunday or Monday. Weekend rates are killer.....in the $40s. 😅

Shot 86 yesterday at my home course. Shot 81 today at CT National. Very gettable course but the greens are the defense. I 3 jacked 5 or 6 times and made nothing. All pars and bogeys.

    78 today with three 6's and three birdies. 7 greens and 28 putts. I never know which golfer is showing up, the one who putts okay or the other guy.
    I chipped in for a birdie. I played the par threes in even par, which doesn't happen to me. I missed an ace by an inch. It rolled over the hole, according to witnesses, and it stopped about 18 inches past. Yes I made the putt. 🙂

    This was my first round with my gamers reshafted to UST RV2 75R (81 gram) shafts from 15 years ago. It is really helping on the short irons. I hit some very clunky 7 irons though. I think the 7 needs some more weight. My hooks seem to be gone because of the shafts. They test out about 1.5 flexes stiffer than the R flexes I was playing. (UST iRN R.)

      39/43, 82 today; 41/40, 81 yesterday. On courses where it's hard for me to break 80, so I'll take them. Nothing stands out in either round. Run of the mill golf for me. Greens at both were super hard/fast as is typical at both courses, but only one double bogey in 36 holes. Both courses have "Hills" in the name, and I'm finding I like that.
      Had Jake along for company again, and he tore me up both rounds. Today he played the tips for the 1st time ever with me. Makes no diff to him anyway as a 700 yd. Par 5 would still be 'not that much' in distance. Had a couple or 3 at nearly 400 off the tee today. And to think I gave him that cheapo LTDx driver to 'see how it goes'.😅Well, it went fine and dandy I'd say. And a FW finder for him even at those distances.

      Oh yeah, almost forgot.....I hit a couple over 200.

                  81 today at Lee's Hill. Might work there as a volunteer. 1 day/week= free membership. Unlimited golf with cart and some guest privileges.

                    I shot 43-37-80 at Carrington Golf Club in Monroe, Mich. this morning. Another "tale of two nines" today. Hit the ball pretty well on both nines, but couldn't chip or putt on the front (three 3-putt greens, a penalty, and a double bogey 🤬). 10 GIR, 35 putts, no birdies. Beautiful early fall day and the course was in GREAT shape!
