DonM lol...I don't report as almost all are "practice" rounds....as occasionally extra shots are hit, putts, chips, etc. although today that didn't happen as I was dead tired from the 36 yesterday and a few beers post round๐Ÿ™ƒ. The intent was to play another 18, but my buddy and I agreed it wasn't happening. The wind was howling worse in the afternoon!

DonM Can we figure it out??......๐Ÿค”

12/18 greens
6/6 up and down opportunities
28 putts

-4 to +4???
I was terrible at math, btw.

ode Great stats! Are you still smashing that Wishon driving iron, or is that club ancient history by now? ๐Ÿ™‚

MidwayJ thanks. Re: Wishon 590 DIH, it is ancient history, at least.one of them is, sold the head, still have the other one. Those babies were/are hot!

Pretty basic set up for me these days, and I do still have a driving iron style at the 5i slot!

      D - 10.5*
      4w - 16.5*
      3h - 19*
      4h - 22*
      5di - 26*
      7-GW 32* - 48*
      SW - 56*

There is a small gap from 5 - 7 but it's maybe 1/2 club, same.from 48* to stand alone SW 56* but the GW is easy enough to back off some. Back to the STi2 from the KE4 Max which is a great head, but the STi2 are much easier to flight and like the sole a bit better/turf interaction. Also I could not elevate the 30* 7i for it to have enough use.....possible it was off spec and lower than stated, but ๐Ÿค”....I stopped fighting it. The 32* STi2 7i gets plenty of height. Getting.into geezer territory๐Ÿ™ƒ

        Par4QC

LoL....I was wondering if it could be figured out but I think so.....as it leaves 12 holes and 22 putts......if one.assumes that the 6 up and downs were for par๐Ÿ™ƒ

ode I left it dependent on Par for the course. 70, 71 or 72. Thus the -4 to +4.

Didn't know 'up & downs' could be anything other than Pars.๐Ÿค”

Right now with Maltby irons and wedges I'm at 44/48/52/56. I could ditch the 48* easier than the 52. I played for a long time with a gap between 45* PW and 52. I'm still trying to figure out when to use the 48. ๐Ÿ™‚

rsvman2 I think they generally mean 'up & down' to be for Par.
But 'on & in' doesn't mean anything at all. Except you finished the hole. Finally.๐Ÿ˜„

            • ode replied to this.

Par4QC that's how I've always used it, BUT I dunno if that's technically correct as one can get up and down for any score. Ive heard announcers say/use it for scores other than par.

Yesterday we got our weekly deluge that floods the front nine. Today I played the back nine twice, CPO. 40 with a double, and 44 with a triple and a double. No putts made. But I got some exercise and vitamin D. ๐Ÿ™‚

KCee I remember when I had never broken 90, and I had a lot of fun. And even more fun when I first started, and couldnโ€™t break a hundred. Now itโ€™s more serious! If I donโ€™t break 80, I have to think about what I did. Who am I kidding, even that is fun. Hitting a golf ball is like heroin.

Played the best course in the metro area today, The Orchards. Tough course, great conditions, fast greens. Shot 86, 12 Fw's 7 GIRs. Tough to hold greens or get it to stop close. Had 3 lip outs that definitely drop on the slower greens I usually play. Hit some of the longest drives I have in a while with a 7.5 degree Soo Long driver at 42". Might be a keeper but will probably have to carry two drivers for when I have a forced carry. Beautiful day out with the wife.

Today I played 36 holes with a buddy. He booked the round via golf moose. Round for 2, plus cart, plus replay, total of $90.00
                    1st round I carded 48/46- 94. My buddy went 48/48-96.
                    2nd round I carded 46/51-97. He carded 43/51-94.
My driver went south on the 2nd round, so I started to take a partial swing and just try to bunt it down into the fairway so I could hit my 5 iron which was almost golden today. My 7 iron let me have a beautiful straight, long, high shot that hit the green nicely.
They had us starting on hole 10, not sure why. They did have guys working on the bunkers on the front 9, yet they didn't close the front 9...

ode one can get up and down for any score.

Up and down means getting on the green from the vicinity of the green and one-putting for any score. Prove us wrong Sexy Rexy! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜„

The interwebs says @ode is correct, so.....

This is different from scrambling, which has a clear definition: The percent of time a player misses the green in regulation, but still makes par or better. An up an down doesnโ€™t have the requirement that the player has to make par or better, making it a stat that captures more successful occurrences.

Typhoon Youโ€™re hitting a 42โ€ driver? Who are youโ€ฆ Dorf?

Correction, it's 43". It's a shaft I've always hit well no matter the head I put in it.
