Seniors league away at Balmore, one of the best courses in our area with the quickest (and most true) greens I've played all year - and I didn't 3 putt ANY of them.
Driving the ball well, irons inconsistent, short game decent, putting better than at my home course. Team went down 3-1, a couple of the regular (and better) players unavailable due to family commitments. I was low man in our 4ball, giving 4 and 5 shots to the opposition and 5 shots to my partner, who played steady consistent golf all day long, giving me the chance to go for a few long drives (drove a 245 yard par 4) and chase a few sketchy flag positions.
I closed out the match 4&2 with a birdie on the par 3 #16. Enjoyable round, poor team result, but winning our tie keeps me and my partner in the team for next week's home match (although we might not be paired together).
