Played 18 earlier today and was spraying driver all over the place, L, L, L, R, L.......Chunked 2 shots in a row on a par 5 from 200 out and made a huge breaking 30 footer for par......
The course was soggy soggy soggy. If you slightly hit behind the ball you were getting hosed as the club would dig in the mud and the ball would go no where.
I dialed in my irons after the first couple holes and hit a lot of really good shots with them. I felt like I played terrible with many of the early holes, but ended up shoot +4 76 with only 1 birdie. Over all a pretty good day that could have been much better if my driver had been working like the past couple 9 hole rounds I played.
Have another round scheduled Friday at a much nicer course then I usually play. Hopefully the improved conditions and larger greens will lead to a great round. We will see.
