This deserves its own post. Good Last Tee story.
On the 14th hole one of the two carts ahead of us comes back to the green where we’re finishing up putting out.
One of the guys asks did we pick up a utility wedge. We said no we never saw one. They take off. On that hole I was in the bunker and used my 60 degree wedge. I always leave my wedge between the hole and cart so I’ll walk by it.
But I was distracted and hadn’t realized I didn’t pick it up. So I go to the next tee and tee off. The two guys I play with tee off from a shorter tee. As they ride by me they say they found the guys wedge.
I see the wedge in my buddies hand and it looked to have the same grip as I use. So they ride up and give the guy his wedge. So as I’m walking off the green the guy comes back and says that the wedge isn’t his wedge. It’s my 60 degree wedge.🙄
After the round the guy was returning his cart and I’m right behind him. He tells me when he went in the pro shop to give his name in case anyone turns it in, they tell him the wedge was there. He never expected the wedge to be there waiting for him.
How he lost it and it got turned in ahead of him is a mystery. 🤔 How I almost lost my wedge was no mystery.😏
