89 at Tarpon Springs. Worst round in quite sometime. Won one match, tied one, lost one and tied the 3 hole remaining match. Only one greenie won today and it wasn't me. So lost a buck.
I've been using an early wrist hinge with great success with the driver, woods and hybrids for awhile now. Hitting nice draws with those. The irons have been sketchy though. Different animal. Not cooperating. lol So today I really concentrated on staying right on top of the ball with no lateral head movement off the ball with the irons.
Irons weren't any better and it bled into my driver and I was hooking my drives. Fairways and hybrids were fine. So I eventually just started hitting my 3 wood off the tee and that worked well. But it was too late. Too much damage done.
Can't blame it on the tight lies, because the overseeded fairways were nice. It was all me today, no excuses. Except I went to bed ~ 9:30 and woke up at 1:00 and couldn't get back to sleep. So I only got ~ 3 hours of sleep. So I'll go with that as my excuse. 😉
Lunch was at Rusty Bellies. Sat outside on the marina. Fish and chips were good. Regroup and give'em hell on Monday.
