sdandrea1 One of our matches today had a 13 stroke differential.. 🤪

The largest differential I've had to give in a tourney was 17 shots. Thought I had no chance. Wont 2&1. 🙄

83 at Jan Stephenson’s course, Tarpon Woods. She runs it as a non profit and it’s usually not in good shape. But we were in a bind for a tee time and it was the only course we could get. And at $29.00 it was fine.

Best condition we’ve seen it in sometime. They over seeded the fairways, but still scalp them. Anyway I broke even on the matches and lost two greenies. So lost $2.00.

We had one hole left over, but decided not to have a match. Too bad I would’ve won it.😒. Anyway, ham and cheese sub and a salad at Joeys. Lunch special for $7.95 including drink.

Played a course in MA called Pine Brook CC. On the simulator. Hilly tree-lined course. Shot 46-45=91. Not bad for me, and had fun.

Thought it was Pine Oaks for a minute, which is a rather contradictory name for a golf course.

The golf gods smileth upon me today. Shot a pair of 37s for a 74. It was a team quota game and we won 1st by 20 points.

        In the bag:

        Honma XP1 driver
        Adams A7OS 3W
        Callaway BB 5h
Tour Edge Hot Launch 4 7h
        PING Eye 2. 8, 9, W
        PING Eye BeCu SW
        Ray Cook 2Ball putter.

It ain't the clubs........every bounce went in my favor. Just one of those days.

8 clubs, not bad at all. 😎

Are any (or all) of those 'demo' clubs ? 🙄

Typhoon Starving right now. Had to break into my survivor food at indoor golf... Sweet and Spicy Beef Jerky from the House of Jerky in North Conway NH

Knowing how much you love seafood 😎, you would've loved my lunch today. Can of King Oscar Sardines packed in extra virgin olive oil, saltine crackers and (diet) ginger ale.

Always reminds me of my grandfather who turned me on to such a delicacy. Having Salmon for dinner. Prepare it with dijon mustard, lot's of dill, lemon salt & pepper and garlic powder. See what you're missing out on. 😂

83 at Hernando Oaks. Split the matches and won one greenie. Driver, woods and hybrids were very good. Squirrelly iron play.

Turkey on wheat for lunch. Had our monthly dinner with the wives last night at Ozona Blue in Palm Harbor.

Had a medley of grilled (on cedar plank) sea bass, mahi and salmon. Food was excellent. Great time as usual.

Lost my quarterfinal match today 3 & 2. My opponent is 5'0", weighs about 100 lbs, is 93 years old (yes....93), plays from the most forward tees and gets 12 strokes from me. He's one of 2 guys we have that are over 90 and both are the nicest guys you'd ever play golf with. At that age, our entire group is proud of them. This guy does not make any mistakes. Mostly bogeys and the occasional par. He won't go away. Once I was behind and running out of holes, I started pressing because I needed birdies to win holes. He finished me off on #16. It was a pleasure to play with him.

Anecdote: our other 90+ year old guy made an ACE today! He bought all 44 of us our drinks.

Sneakylong That means I have 26 years left to get my first. 😎 🏌️

I was just thinking I may be waiting another 36 years! I probably have better odds at the hole in one than making it to 92 though 🤣
