Great. Not my sons place though. Lol. The original owners son. Does Steve play golf? If so he might know my brother in law and nephew who are members at Cranberry Valley in Harwich.

If he likes lobster I can hook him up with some lobsters. My brother in law has a commercial lobster business in Harwich. They’re out of season right now though.

I know you probably hate lobster 🦞. Haha

37-42 on a par 71 from 6400 yards. Easy course, but that was intentional since I played with my son. 3rd round in a row in the 70's for me. I am very happy about that. Never had more than 1 in a row before this stretch. I can get used to this. Played really well on the front with a birdie and 3 bogeys. Got a bit loose on the back nine but held it together just enough. Only 1 double bogey on the day and no 3 putte. LogicalOne putter stays in the bag.

104 at Pebble Beach…simulator. I had automatic putts on so I could get in 18 in the hour. Used the Zing 1/2 set. Man are they easy to hit. The extra bounce really help me not fat too many. And these things bring the rain…super high fliers.

It was nice to get in a round with 5 inches of snow on the ground!

It depends. For the bump and run, it's a 7i or 8i. Medium rollout, W. High and soft, SW. I had trouble getting used to the green speed today, so lots of bogeys. Drove it well.....putted well.

83 at Plantation Palms. Won one match and lost two, but won the extra 2 hole individual match. Won one greenie. Ended up winning $6.00. Drove the ball well and hit some decent iron shots today, but not real solid. Lunch was at Hungry Harry's.

Sorry about that. The usual. Quarter chicken lunch special. Two pieces of chicken with two sides and a piece of cornbread. I had potato salad and coleslaw. Unsweetened ice tea with lemon as always. All for $6.99 plus the drink.

Think it came to a grand total of a little over $10.00. 😎

Ninety Fucking One. It was ugly. No power or snap in anything. Can't hit anything off the turf more than 130 yards in the air......with a 25 degree hybrid. Driving is fine.....good as ever. Putting is fine. Just no power, touch or confidence off the turf on full swings.

sdandrea1 Years ago I played with this old Asian guy at Green Meadows Golf course. Got paired up with him. I was around -4 and on the 11th hole maybe I had 90 yards for my second shot and hit it probably 110. Only green I had missed at that point. I looked up in disbelief that the Lob Wedge went that far. He said to me, " sometimes even the monkey falls out of the tree". So true.

Typhoon It's a common saying in Japan. Saru mo ki kara ochiru. I've always heard the English translation as 'even monkeys fall from trees.' Pretty good bet the guy you played with was Japanese.
It's kind of the antithesis of 'even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.'
