Was able to sneak in one last round this year. Unplanned, so I haven't been to the range at all. Needless to say, because of that I was playing quite well. Stuck a 7i to 5 feet for a birdie on 4, then made 20 and 15 foot birdie putts on 8 and 9 to shoot -3 on the front. Total surprise, have not shot under par in 18 months. 10-12 are birdie opportunities, then the course gets hard. Easy par on 10, left a 20 foot birdie 3 inches short on 11, then missed a 5 foot birdie on 12. Uh-oh.
Then.....collapse. 3 putt bogey on 13. Barely par 14. Bogey 15. Bogey 16. Wished in a 10 foot par on 17. Good drive on 18, then hit the 9 iron fat coming in. Fat, but still made it into the green but 25 feet away. MADE IT for a 71 (-1)! Queue the dancing bananas.
