There is also a par 60 near me with some long par 3's. The 9th hole can be 235 and it's a bit uphill. 11 can be 225. The course only has 1 par 5 and 5 par 4's, but the par 3's can make scoring difficult.

Pain is nearly gone. It's still locked up with arthritic fusion, and I've adapted to that. The great part is the chronic pain has subsided.

I've had neck issues this summer (maybe due to golf...? I mean, you can imagine the "torque" I put on it with that
powerful 76-yr-old swing of mine!!)). Anyway, I bought a memory foam pillow for better neck support (I'm a side-sleeper), and it's amazing how much better it feels!

Played in a bi-monthly scramble today. Our team was getting 10.3 handicap shots for a net 56.7. (We only managed 3 birdies on our par 70). Winning score was a net 45. Forty Fucking Five Five! I remember why I quit playing in these things.........

I got out with my buddies yesterday, got a late tee time, but got 9 in. Had a 44 on a course I have never seen and haven’t touched the clubs in over a month. Good times. Two 3 putts in there, but no lost balls! Winner 😂

77 at timber Greens (37- 40). Had two birdies. Won all three matches and a greenie. Won $6.00. Breakfast for lunch. Scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots and toast.

Finally played well yesterday. 39-41 on a par 71. Could have been even better if I could putt. Missed 3 good birdie putts including a 3 footer.🤬 Even with the lousy missed putts I only had 30 putts on the day thanks to 2 chip in pars. Felt great tee to green. Hopefully more rounds like that in the future.

Shot 87 (42 + 45) and 86 (40 + 46) this weekend. Both days it got cold(er) and realy windy on the back 9 and I didn't handle it well. The Raynaud's kicks in and my hands of stone become ice. Nice to still be playing in November though.
