Golf_ghirl's on holiday this wek and keen to try out her golf trike, so pencil bag for me and over the road we went.
Trike is trigger happy - very sensitive throttle and she asked me to take it down a path with wheelie bins as she didn't think there was clearance. Walked it thru the gap, around a corner, touched the throttle, wheel ran up the back of my left foot π Funny at the time but my ankle is hurting bad now (6 hours later!) and movement a bit restricted; will know more later when I walk the dog but I must have given it a real twist.
Golf was OK although golf_ghirl spent more time worrying about driving the trike than the golf ball, understandable but she seems to have the hang of it now. I drove the ball well, irons were a bit too lefty for my liking, but it was my first outing playing from mats since Feb/March last year. Putting's a lottery, scarified greens so lots of tram lines to negotiate. Some of the greens had furrows and holes to contend with ... decent day out if a little short (only played 10 holes).
