Went around twice yesterday with a friend and her daughter. She hasn't played in about 14 years, since her daughter was born. She's been wanting to get back in to golfing, and her daughter decided to try. Daughter is having a great time, plays most of the course with a 9 iron. Hits her 9 off the tee, follows it up with her 9 from wherever her tee shot landed. Might take her 6 hits to get to the green, and a few putts, she's getting the hang of it, and enjoying herself.

colej she is almost as tall as her mother and is using her mother's clubs, they are both about 5'.
As far as them needing clubs; my friends husband used to play almost every day before he passed away a few years ago from cancer. She still has all his old clubs, and her old iron set. She bought a new set of Callaway X18 before her daughter was born. Most of their issue right now is needing to replace the grips on the wedges, woods, and driver. The grips on the irons are still soft and feel to be in good shape, still recommended that they get them all changed.

Only played a scramble tournament this weekend and we just did ok, but somehow I won long drive. Not quite 270, but apparently no one was hitting the fairway. It is a hard fairway to hit and surprised they used this hole. The Epic Max LS may stay in the bag a while.

Played ine of my favorite courses yesterday. The Links at Las Polomas in Puerto Penasco Mexico. Shot 42-46. I fell apart on the last 4 holes. I wasn't worried to much about my score. Vacation golf and I got to play with my son. We had fun and the course was in excellent shape. $65 for me and $25 for my boy for golf next to the ocean. Can't complain about any of that.

Mattyv Very reasonable for Mexico golf from what I've seen. I'll have to look into that, Where'd you stay?

80 at Fox Hollow with 2 birdies. Was losing $5.00 (won one match, lost two and lost 3 greenies) until garbage time when we had two holes left and played individual one tie all tie with two of the guys getting a stroke. Pared 17 and 18 and ended up winning. Won a buck. 😎

Forgot. 😀 Half a toasted tuna on dry wheat toast with tomato 🍅 and 🧅, with a cup of broccoli and cheese soup. Very good.

Going to Olive Garden tonight with my golf buddies and the wives. Started to get together for dinner recently. Going with the Shrimp Scampi tonight.

My turn to pick the restaurant next month. Going with LongHorn Steakhouse.

After not playing for 3 weeks (Canada trip), my partner & I shot -10 to place 2nd in our big $$
Member-Member. DanO needs a new set of irons. Gonna get fitted and see what works best to

Wow, cannot even BEGIN to imagine having my wife out with anyone I golf or work at golf with. The hate she has for the sport, anyone that plays it or has anything to do with it is second to none. I just can’t imagine what they’d be like. I’m jealous that you have that.

That's too bad. We had 10 at dinner last night and everyone had a great time. 99% of the conversation was non golf. Why does she hate golf so much? I have a sister in law who hates golf. It's because her parents were always away playing golf.

Guess I'm lucky too!
My wife knows jack squat about golf, but she had a great time at the PLDA last week.
She probably got more pics of Bryson than I did and thought he was a really nice young man,
especially when he started signing autograph's for everyone.
And the guys I golf with on a regular basis, she likes some of them better than I do! 😁

I think she just hates people doing things they enjoy with people they like. She just hates everyone. had to quit the gym…. I don’t even bother playing anymore. She’s even told me to take all the golf shit off my resume and linked in profile because I’m not a golf pro…. Yet it never said I was🙄… just said what I did.

Sounds familiar. My wife seems to think my working 45 hours/week and sometimes commuting +8 hours/week is all the joy I need in my life. Why would I need to play golf at all? Of course she goes out with friends all the time, but mainly during the day when I'm at work so it doesn't cut into our family time 🙄

Yea, me too. My wife loves going on golf vacations and tolerates my constantly swinging a club in the house.
