sdandrea1 I got to the first green on my 4th stroke, had I realized that is could club WAY UP I could have been there on with my 3rd. I was just barely on the green and still 40' away from the pin. Didn't hit it hard enough, hit it too hard, too hard not hard enough...... There is the reason I carded a 9 on the first hole. I wasn't trying to kill the ball, just trying to get the fairway, if I got the rough, I seemed to be in a decent lie. I did get catch a few bunkers and one too me a few swings to get out of. As far as bad shots piling up, yes they do. I bladed a wedge into a tree, ended up unable to get back to the green in 1 from there, and 3 putts were killing me. However, I'm learning to leave the last hole on the last hole. I had a good time, got more bunker practice, and got to hit my driver more than ever before. As far as score I was happy with double bogeys, I got 6 of those, 5 singles, 6 triple or worse, and a single par. I was very happy with that one! One triple was due to an OB/ lost ball shot. A few from me getting flustered and not able to get out of my own head. Next time I'll be spending some time on the putting green there before my round.
