Pretty crappy 48 on my 9er (I shot 41 the last two times so the 48 was disheartening.) I left EVERYTHING short today - chips and putts alike. Floyd the Driver is still a work in progress. I’m launching it much better but it’s a block right / baby fade whereas my typical miss is a duck hook left. I think it’s the extra inch (I’ve got it at 46) that I’m getting used to as well as the fact that I tipped the shaft an inch for a bit more stiffness. Still getting good distance 260-275 considering I’m not yet hitting it well.
I played with a random guy. The dude only had one club and it was funky looking. At first I thought he was using some sort of adaptive golf equipment but a quick check revealed he, in fact, had all 4 appendages. He explained that he played “fling golf”. Apparently he saw it on Shark Tank. He has a bum shoulder and can’t swing but can fling…and fling he did. The dude was money and shot par. Pretty interesting concept. He played fast so it really didn’t hold me up or anything.
