Quick solo 12 holes with the pencil bag after the Open coverage. Took the driver back to 10.5, still with a draw bias, just to see what it would do. First couple of drives exactly as it says on the tin, high and long with a slight draw. Later that turned into a slight hook but I felt I wasn't swinging down the target line with my right arm, and when I tried to "force2 that feeling on #18 I skied the ball badly (never marked the clubface though!). Still made a par with a 5W recovery, a chip and a putt. Actually played 2 balls on that hole and parred them both. Hit the ball well most of the time, and only 1 3-putt when I hit too long on #15, a par 3 with a heavily sloped green, leaving a downhill putt that puts the fear in you ...
On a side note, golf_ghirl played this morning, and took my 3W out for a try. Looks like it's back to ebay or wherever I can find Epic Flash FWs, she was hitting it 30-40 yards longer than her current 3W (Callaway X series 416 I think).
