Got out for nine hot, humid holes at my usual muni thus evening. Still working on a new grip, new swing, wearing a glove, etc, but it is going well.
Drive I hit on 12 was the best I've ever hit there. Was two over standing on the 17th tee. Last two holes didn't go so well. Bad drive on 17 led to a bogey with a water ball penalty stroke. Good tee shot on 18 that was only slightly pulled ended up nearly unplayable in a bunker. Hacked it out with sand wedge and then hit a gorgeous approach to about five feet left of the hole, pin high. Didn't see the shot; blinded by the sun. Even by the time I was putting I couldn't see well, a lot of bright yellow flashing. Pulled the par putt left while squinting. Ended up four over.
All in all, not too bad. I hit some really solid shots that felt amazing, so I think the swing changes are working out.
