I bend my wedges pretty flat (moreso now since "standard" lie has gone up to 65 deg it seems) so that rules out most cheaper OEM wedge heads, which is fine by me.
Black heads are also a no go, as they either look like shit after bending or can't be bent at all.
I like DTG Inazone wedges (none on hand) and Alpha, Wishon and most of the Snake Eyes line.
I try to match GW and SW. Super wide sole is a no go. Same with thick topline.
If I have a high bounce, wide sole SW in the bag, I try to put a low bounce LW in there now, due to the lack of sand on bunkers these days along with what seems like more hardpan as well. Vice versa if I have a low bounce SW in the bag.
Tried 8 iron wedge flex and found traj too high and on short shots, if you lean on it a bit, the ball shoots out like a rocket and goes too far. I prefer stiff wedge flex, which is easier to predict and control, imo.
