Read a lil on it on WRX. Sounds a like an Uber light and Uber soft shaft (someone did a profile on it) that holds up to a good lash. I take it with a grain of salt as IMO shafts that light and at the playing lengths it's meant for don't work for many....but it certainly sounds like it's unique given the light and soft part yet still producing good #'s!

It must be the secret materials lol. On the surface, this shaft would be the exact opposite of what typically works for me plus I hit it dead straight and I never hit the ball straight lol. I typically hit a nice medium to high fade on good hits and a high slice on my mishits - its been a long, long time since I have hit a drive that straight - no joke.

shokosugi that's where the rubber meets the road for me. Even though it may be able to hold up to a big swing, it will rear it's ugly head over time if a poor fit for weight/heft. Now if they made a heavy shaft that I could magically swing faster than a same/similar weight and produced better numbers they might raise my eyebrow, but that's not the case. I know that adding +2" of clublength is going to give more swing speed and more ball speed when I center it up. But i won't center it up much. I'm not interested in mishitting my driver most of the time while still getting decent results for the few drives per round that go 15 yards further. I'll wait for the tail wind or firm conditions for that. Too much launch monitor golf going on these days being passed off as real golf.

shokosugi I came across the vids of this shaft when searching out the Steadfast shaft. My thoughts...

only a question, for those swinging the heavier (much) stiffer flex shafts than I do.....you ever (not just TRY) play a shaft that might be 2 flexes softer than you normally use? Esp. in the same weight class of your normal.

Here is the txg guy whaling away with the autoflex.....there is another vid with same guys but different driver head combo with the autoflex, I think he is dialing it back in the other vid if I remember correctly-

Yeah I watched that video - it was their 3rd one I believe. I am wondering if this shaft is legal because I would think some of the smoother swingers on tour that could benefit with distance such as a Kuchar would be all over this shaft if it actually could improve distance. Not too mention many guys on the senior tour, ladies tour etc. This would definitely be a fun shaft to demo on a launch monitor for sure

shokosugi I don't see why it wouldn't be legal. Willing to bet a few have already tried it (pros)....I'm sure some of the lpga gals have.

I remember something like this years ago. 1 shaft fits all and it was loose as a goose. I had one, can't remember the name. Didn't have it for long though. Hit it all over the place.
