I know it sounds far-fetched, but my post is completely genuine. The thing that's interesting is the TS-1 has a lower COG compared to the TS-2.

They are some very nice irons. I have been playing mine for about 6 months now. One thing I have noticed is that they don't get very dirty during the round! Mine must have been coated in some dirt repelling teflon or something.

Another thing I have noticed is that the 5 and 4 irons are very easy to hit. My last set (Maltby DBM'S) the 6 iron felt the best. This set I think it is the 5 iron. I don't fear the long iron shots like I have in the past.

They're both interesting. I was able to briefly demo a TS-2 and liked it, but I haven't seen the TS-1. Considering ordering a head to try. I like that the TS-1 has more standard loft. I e-mailed GW and apparently they have adjusted/increased loft of TS-2 and combo'd with the TS-1. That could be a cool set.

I like the idea of a TS-2/1 combo set but I have seen pics of used TS-2 sets where the cavity medallions look dented up. I know it is a small thing but it would bother me. I'm a little concerned they are susceptible to that. My set all this season was a Steelhead XR 5 iron with Steelhead XR Pro 6-AW. Those medallions wore like iron. I probably shouldn't be considering something else anyway, those irons have been excellent for me.

I played Rogues this summer, that I bought 1 yr. ago this moth, and they sat 'til almost June. Absolutely the best irons I've ever played.
They are gone. Got some new TM P790s.
And that's just how this forum is supposed to work....get with it! 😆

Built mine in spring of 2018 ... changed to Nippon shafts in 2019 ... now, the only thing left is to change grips each season.

I have the TS-2 and TS-1 combo. I started with TS-2 thru the PW. Ordered the TS-1 down to the GW-#7 iron.. Eventually may end up with the TS-1 down to a #5 iron.

MY go to bag this season had #5-6 TS-2 and TS-1 #7 thru GW. Hard to beat. I really like the forgiveness of the TS-2 long irons.

Mustaggolf I heard the ts1s were about as forgiving as the ts2s. Not your experience?

Yeah, I get it. I used to get something different every winter. But from 2017-19 I think I shot 3 rounds total in the 70s. In 2020, I shot 8. The irons just seem to suit me. Still doesn't stop the ho impulse though, especially if I could find a deal on some P790s, or maybe some 921 HM/HMP. 😉

I received these "almost new" single length clubs yesterday and the irons that have actually been hit, all have the same strike point, low, on the toe. My miss was always the same thing. What causes that??

The problem is early extension, which causes the hips to move toward the ball and head to rise. It's common with amateurs, teaching professionals, and a surprising number of players on the LPGA.
