What was it like hitting a 50* SW? I was always under the impression that a SW pretty much had to be 55+ degrees to be effective out of the sand, so that loft at the lower end of the set was basically "fixed." That's what created the "gap" and the need for a gap wedge as lofts at the other end of the set strengthened.
