The new shaft on the market arrived today. Unfortunately, with the weather, I'm unable to hit it...But here's what I can tell you.
This is in a "Raw" state. No paint and no logos, except for a sticker under the grip. I does match well with the mat black finish of my G400!
As near as I can tell, it's in the 65-70 gram range which is a bit heavy for my liking in a driver. Without hitting it, I can tell you it wiggles stiffer than the regular flex I ordered. But you'd expect that with 1.5* of torque.
One disappointment for me was the lack of care during assembly. There is epoxy residue near the adapter. When I contacted the company and told them of the issue (With Pics), I was told that this is normal and every OEM does it too. I objected to no avail.
Here are some pics of the shaft installed. Once I get a break in the weather, I'll take it out for a test drive.
