colej ode edge of a credit card should scrape it off. If you picked up every club at Dicks or Golf galaxy you’re not going to see that.
CallMeAl ode Appears to have some kinda coating. Not very heavy though. You can still feel the ridges of the wrap.
ode CallMeAl I remember one of the AXE shafts from GW had a clear coat over the raw shaft.....it was braided underneath, I think. Wedge shaft, pretty sure anyway. But the clear coat was thick.
Par4QC ode Just think, the same guys putting on those adapters are the same guys making the shaft. I've never seen a shaft unravel before. Hope they didn't use Elmer's branded Pre Preg.
candukid Devils' advocate here...have you ever tried to get epoxy off a MATTE surface???...not very easy. Sure a painted shaft wipes clean...not so much with a Raw finish like I see in the pic. But they should have been more careful... just sayin...don't shoot the messenger.
Bravopilot CallMeAl Thanks for looking at this and sharing. Similar to the Discount Golf loser I ordered grips from (didn't lose money). Don't know until someone lets us know. Happy to donate for your loss-seriously.
raggmann54 CallMeAl That's been a complaint I have seen in various places. After a hit or 2 the head flies off. The shaft doesn't reach the .335 till about 4-5" up the shaft...Shoddy work...
LogicalOne CallMeAl Yikes!! 🤨 I hope they don’t jerk you around on the refund, but based off of how they treated you with the epoxy mess it would not surprise me.
Spuzz ode .is that reading less than 3 tenths of an inch? It means it went in Al's pencil sharpener before the adaptor went on 😉
colej CallMeAl I’d say it’s .327 all the way to the tip if not even smaller. Can you imagine the amount of epoxy that’s inside that shaft adapter???
pellmell CallMeAl Considering this is a raw shaft is .327" significant? What is the prepped tip measurement of a common shaft?
colej Are you a member at golfwrx? I’d post there as well? Those guys probably eat up all that low torque crap talk
