Weirfan I know I'm in a tiny minority but I never thought she was attractive.

I guess those would last longer than two years, though, but I don't think you're supposed to touch the actual bulbs.

Yeah, those new bulbs are great - for the guy driving that car. Not so great for the driver of the oncoming vehicle. I find the new blue/white high intensity bulbs difficult to deal with when they're coming towards me.

I agree with you, Ursus...but mine aren't HID and I think those who use those shouldn't. There is a happy medium and I think the ones in my vehicle are those. The difference is startling. It almost seems foolish and unsafe to have driven the way I did previously.

My Saturn is going on 17 years and I've never had to replace a headlight. I wish they still made these cars. Best car I've ever owned.

CREE LED bulbs are what you are looking for. They will plug and play with the existing wiring. You'll have to order them online most likely. Look for the kind that has the fiber wick to dissipate heat instead of the fan. The ones with the fans burn out more rapidly. They will look something like this:

pike51 Thanks, pike. I will look to purchase these for my next go 'round.

I may be in the minority here, but I prefer the Jennifer Aniston "headlight" talk and I think a thread jacking is in order!

A guy could get his eyes poked out if he was'nt careful.
