garyt1957 colej I had a Felon also, but I couldn't break mine. It was a good driver but I didn't notice any distance gains
Par4QC You guys are making me feel bad for shooting 69 today(second time in a week), on a 5500+ course. 54 *, 30-40 mph winds, I might add. 😄 Pick a spot....any spot, but choose wisely. Hit it straight....
johnnydoom Par4QC Ain't no reason to feel bad. I can't shoot 69 on a putt-putt course 😀 I played a course that totaled less yardage than that today for 18 and didn't get within 10 strokes of you. I suspect you'd whip me every time at short distances and even worse as the distances increase. Nice round!
sdandrea1 Par4QC You guys are making me feel bad for shooting 69 today(second time in a week) Plus handicapper? Not bad for a player who says he can't hit irons! 😁
Par4QC johnnydoom I can play OK on courses over 6000, but depends on course set up. I play 1 course where the sr. tees are in such spots that it is almost impossible to play from them, and they are still 6000(regs. are 6500). I like the course a lot and usually play from a mixture of sr./reg. tees(mostly reg.). I did break 80 there a couple weeks back, and I was tickled.
Par4QC johnnydoom Oh, and I was standing on #18 tee, for the 2nd time in a week, 2 under, shooting my age. Very wicked green on that short Par 3.
Par4QC sdandrea1 migawd, I am so bad with irons! But, today wasn't bad at all, but only hit a few 9 & PW, SW. Even made a 9 go 100 into that strong wind. Imma brute. 😆
Par4QC sdandrea1 I love the wind. Have to around here. I had to chase the ball around the green on 1 hole; it was like a happy doggie! Not going today; it's supposed to be up in the 50's. The wind!.....the temp is supposed to be around 70. Now, if someone should happen to call and ask if I would go play....... 😄
DC300 garyt1957 Because it’s “cheating” and if you do accomplish something, you did it “illegally”. For a sport that requires you to police yourself, that’s troubling. No equipment rules, no issue, just maximizing your potential, not cheating. To many, that’s a big difference.
