garyt1957 The yardages I cited are probably not typical as I usually don't pay attention to the senior tee lengths. The one time I played them was on this course (below), and shot a 78 as an older fellow wanted to join me and I just figured I'd go ahead and play from the same tees as he does. This is one I normally play from the white tees (the next one back) and the best I've ever done from there is 84. But here, from the senior yellow tees all of the par 4s are between 255 - 340, and the Par 5s are between 380 - 440, I'm not a good player or a long player, but I can sometimes reach 440 or a little longer with a driver and 5 wood or perhaps even a 3 hybrid. It is a very difficult course for me from just the white tees, but I can tee off with a 4 iron to keep it in the narrow fairways and still hit into the hard and fast greens with a 6 iron at most from the senior tees and makes it an entirely different experience. Someone else might like the difference, but for me the fun is in the challenge more than the score. (Edit - whoops the image is unreadable. I'll try to zoom in on it and re-attach)
